Violet Gray (via This Year’s Love)
After 9 months of primered walls, I finally got the gumption to pick up a gallon of paint from Menards to repaint my bedroom.
It was originally a moody blue color similar in tone to this purple-grey-clay color, but it just seemed so dour and out of place. Otherwise my walls are warm colors. I liked the blue, but just not in my decor. I couldn’t be more pleased with the color I picked out within five minutes—and if you know me then you know it can take several trips and several weeks to finally pick a damn color.
It feels like my room is giving me a hug now. If only I could find the gallon of brown paint I was originally going to use to paint my kitchen…then I’ll be much happier without the yellow. Yellow kitchens are so cliche.
