blocked like a fucking scarf.

I finished the vampire’s scarf, and it came out amazingly beautiful.

bittersweet & finished.

I saw it laying on my computer chair the other night and wondered where that scarf came from, realizing quickly that I was the one who made it! Yeah, it’s that amazing. I put so much time and energy into it and I’m so pleased with how it came out.

I’m currently knitting a simple garter stitch mobeius scarf for Anna and I found this incredible (and easy! knit, purl…they are my friends…) pattern with a V at each end for my girl Vivian’s Christmas present. I couldn’t find a yarn to match the other pattern I chose, so this will look great with plain pink yarn I’ve been eyeing. The best part was that I wondered what color to make hers with and thought “Pink? Maybe. Nah…” and that night I actually got to see her and she said, “MAKE ME A PINK SCARF!!” and I just laughed. So, I was right!

Speaking of Vivian, my girl and I are going to get my tongue pierced tonight! I only have like four more hours to endure at work before I get to put a piece of metal through my tongue! woot! I am a little weirded out by the concept, but I already have my lip and my nose pierced. And I’ve wanted my tongue pierced for forever.

I saw Twilight and it was great. The experience was great. It wasn’t a very good movie. I’m rereading the book for the third time. It’s so good! Just too much fun.

Meanwhile my NaNoWriMo ::glare:: is a beast. I am probably going to do a major rewrite because I can’t stand the direction it went in! And the style completely changed. Lame. So who knows. I’m more than halfway done but what I have is just crap. I can’t … I don’t know. I want to give up—I only have a week left!!!

Also, panic, I’m meeting the vampire on Wednesday to deliver the scarf in person. First time I’ll see him in over a month. Weird.
