You have to be kidding me.
Despite the fact that I work out every day in one form or another and I’ve really been working on my abs, I still think of myself as that fat slob who couldn’t do a situp if her life depended on it. I watched some mini workout videos on Hulu to get some ideas on working on my back and my abs this time on the floor (otherwise I was doing them standing up). The one move was this torturous looking thing called a “V Rotation”. The angle the trainer was holding herself at looked impossible for someone like me—who is mostly fat and blubber. But then I tried it and oh. my. god. I CAN DO IT. I CAN DO THAT MOVE!!!!
If I wasn’t already exhausted from working out for the last hour and if I hadn’t been up since 7:45, I would do a victory dance. Instead I’m going to try to finish twenty reps of this move—sets will come later. Already my back and shoulders are burning from getting a good whaling on tonight.
Can I get a “Woo!”??
